It is made from gunny, a waterproof material that is used for cement sacks. After they have fulfilled their use on a building site in India, these cement sacks are usually destined for landfill.

But instead, they are collected, washed, melted down to plastic fibres, and dyed ready to start their life again on the weaving loom. The material is 100% recycled, and a perfect step towards being more environmentally-conscious. You'll never have to use pesky plastic carriers again!
